I visited the Team from Weston Park Cancer Charity at Chesterfield Football Club who provide the important service to transport patients to Weston Park Hospital to receive their treatment.

So, today I’m down at the Football Ground. Here with Weston Park Cancer Charity. I have been meeting the team who support the really important service Weston Park provide for cancer patients to transport them here from Chesterfield over to Weston Park for their treatment. I have been meeting drivers, who are volunteers and also West Special Fasteners, one of the sponsors of that charity, alongside the members of the charity and great to hear what a massive difference this service makes to all their patients. When you are going through the journey with cancer one of the many pressures that face you are the impacts on family and the time that they have to take away from work but also just the practicalities of being able to get over to Sheffield for treatment and this service, that provides transport for patients is absolutely invaluable so, I am down here today to raise awareness.
